What a day!
It was a beautiful Friday morning at Thetis Lake enjoyed by a record 92 swimmers! The water temperature has moved up a full degree to almost 19C (18.8C). Swimmers of all different speeds enjoyed the session and welcomed swimmers visiting for the Ironman 70.3 and the 94 Forward Youth Triathlon Camp.

As per usual, this Mondayβs 10:45am and 12noon sessions will be offered.
The evening session will NOT be held as the facility closes at 4:00pm (this has been accounted for at the time of registration)

Great Start to Friday Morning Swims!
Nearly 40 swimmers hit the waters of Thetis Lake this past Friday to begin the open water season. The water temperature was a pleasant 18C (the warmest starting temperature in many years) and it was great to be back in the open water in the beautiful surroundings of Thetis Lake.
You are invited to join in next Friday!
Here's how...
- Every Friday morning (until early September), 7:30am arrival, 7:45am in the water
- Location: Thetis Lake, Main Beach
- Season Pass: $75 (click below) or $10 drop-in on site (cash)
- Bonus for early Season Pass Purchasers: A bright swim cap for the open water
- An On-line Waiver signing is also required (once for the season)

Thetis Lake Swim Update!
Start Date: Friday, May 15th.
The recent warm sunny weather has driven water temperature up β it is already at 19C!
We may be at 20C for the first swim which will be a very comfortable way to start these amazing training sessions. It is time to sign up and confirm your spot.

Start your Fridays off the right way at beautiful Thetis Lake!
Join us Friday mornings where swimmers of all levels will meet to swim on the calm, safe waters of majestic Thetis Lake. The session is led by certified coaches and includes a structured workout designed to improve your open water swimming skills and fitness (choice of workout distances will be given). Coaches will be present with kayaks on the water.

TC 10K - Congratulations!
Congrats to all of the Saturday Morning Runners who competed in the TC10K this past Sunday. It was a glorious day out there.

Provincials!
The Masters Provincial Swimming Championships took place this past weekend in Kelowna, BC.
