Little Bear 🐻 waking up this spring 🌼 destashing my yarn supply by making these sweet little critters is very enjoyable lately ✨🌻

✨ When those little hands want to follow that big heart. It's such a gift to have these calm moments together ❤️

🐛
Just as long as they stay out of our veggie garden 🤞
Allergies have been brutal over here with the fir trees raining down their pollen magic everywhere✨✨Fortunately we have a torrential downpour going on and suddenly I'm feeling good enough to complete this caterpillar 🌷

🧶🧶Happy De-stashing 🧶🧶
Recently I made a few childrens tops in an attempt to destash my yarn supply. My little love requested Beauty and the Beast colours with pink, yellow, and brown for the Beast. Safe to say we're all very happy with how these turned out 💐 No pattern, lotsa heart.

🌿I finished a new Fair Isle hat this week, and somehow my backyard ivy insisted on becoming part of the story.
🌿

The ivy in my backyard is unruly in the best way. It climbs, sprawls, stretches, and refuses to be managed. There is a beautiful force in its vines—both wild and intentional. Over the years I’ve cut it back only to find myself gathering the clippings, twisting them into small baskets and makeshift bird nests, letting their strength and curve decide the shape.🌿

So here it is again, showing up on a hat. Nature insisting on collaboration.
🌿
A Fair Isle pattern framed by ivy—threads and vines side by side. One worked row by row with quiet attention; the other growing wherever it chooses. And together, they made the photographs so much better than anything I planned.🌿

Sometimes the things that get in the way end up becoming the point.🌿

I spent the evening duplicate-stitching the cutest little bumblebee onto a knitted hat, and I’m so in love with how it turned out. 🐝✨
There’s something so satisfying about taking a simple, cozy hat and giving it a whole new personality with just a needle and some extra yarn. Duplicate stitch is basically embroidery for knitters ... perfect for adding little pops of detail without having to change colours as you knit. And this tiny bee? Totally worth the extra time.
The best part is how it brings a bit of springtime joy into a winter project. Now the hat feels cheerful, handmade, and a little bit magical ... like it’s carrying its own buzz of happiness.
Might have to stitch a whole swarm next. 💛🖤🧶

🦊✨ Feeling foxy! Just finished knitting this adorable fox hat with soft yarn, and all the woodland charm. I love how it turned out — the perfect mix of playful and warm for chilly days. Hand-knit with lots of love (and maybe a few sneaky stitches).
Would you wear one of these, or should I make a whole animal family next? 🧶🧡

Wishing everyone a happy day of warm and cozy vibes. ✨ I'm enjoying the spooky vibes at and looking forward to trick or treating tonight in the West Coast rain ☔

✨ New knitting obsession unlocked! 🧶💫

I just started experimenting with a double-stranded knitting technique — and wow, it’s cozy magic! Two yarns at once = extra squish, dreamy texture, and the prettiest marled look. 😍

Can’t wait to see how it turns out (and maybe unravel it a few times first… because that’s part of the fun, right? 😅).
