Huge thank you to Vincent Rees for the vision, and to the stage management team, volunteers, the Ukrainian Cultural Centre, and all the performers for the incredible work that brought it all together behind the scenes and on stage.

SHOWCASE SPOTLIGHT: Kalyna Ukrainian Choir

We are honoured to introduce the special guest for our upcoming showcase: the Kalyna Ukrainian Choir! 🌟

Kalyna truly embodies the spirit of the Ukrainian Canadian community in Victoria, BC. As an affiliate organization of the Ukrainian Canadian Cultural Centre, they have a beautiful history in our city. Originally established in 1985 under the dedicated leadership of Geraldine Shostak, the choir took a hiatus before being passionately reconstituted in November 2018.

Now featuring an all-new lineup of incredible vocalists under the masterful direction of Lina Streltsov, they continue to share the rich tapestry of Ukrainian culture through song.

🎶 Special Collaboration: For this performance, they will be joined by Elijah Bueckert on guitar, adding a unique acoustic layer to their powerful choral sound! 🎸

Come experience the passion, history, and community spirit of Kalyna live on stage.
