TAKE NOTICE that the Annual General Meeting (the “meeting”) of the Victoria DanceWorks Society (the “Society”) will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. at #550-777 Royal Oak Drive, Victoria BC, for the following purposes:

1. To receive, and if thought fit, to adopt the minutes of the Annual General Meeting of members of DanceWorks held on October 3, 2023 in Victoria, BC.
2. To consider any business arising out of such minutes.
3. To receive the Report of the President of the Board of Directors.
4. To receive and consider the financial statements for the Society for the fiscal year ending April 30, 2024.
5. To appoint the Society’s auditors for the ensuing year.
6. To receive the Report of the Festival Coordinator.
7. To confirm the Nomination Report of the Board of Directors.
8. To transact such other business that may properly come before the meeting or any adjournment thereof.
9. Termination.

After much careful thought and consideration, the Board has come to the decision that 2025 will be the final season for Victoria DanceWorks. This was certainly not an easy decision, but for many reasons we know that the timing is right, and it's very important to us that we finish on a high note!

So, please make sure to join us in 2025! ✨
We will be offering two back-to-back events again next season - Solo/Duo/Trio Competition AND Solo Competition (for Provincial Contention).
