Lucy and Asha share bits of their CSS and athletic journey and how it has provided them valuable support!

Throughout Asha's time at CSS She feels encouraged to focus on the more challenging aspects of her training, such as strength and speed. Having a strong support system has been helpful in pursuing challenges.

Lucy has enjoyed being surrounded by coaches and athletes who perform at a high level, and she appreciates that she is able to train daily while maintaining her academics.

Eric came to Camosun College with the clear goal of studying Kinesiology and dreaming of wearing a Chargers’ jersey. Sport had always shaped his life.

“I’ve always loved sport and exercise so having the chance to study how the body responds and adapts to training while playing collegiate sport in an incredible facility was super tempting,” says Eric.

Over his five seasons with the , he grew not just as an athlete, but as a leader and teammate balancing early‑morning lifts, late‑night study sessions, cross‑country road trips, and the relentless push to improve. After completing the Kinesiology program as a President’s Trophy winner for earning the highest GPA among all Chargers athletes, Eric is now in the Registered Massage Therapy (RMT) program, and hopes to blend his skills and passions.
