How are you continuing to move forward?

I recently recognized that I haven't felt the feeling of true adventure & excitement in 6 years.
In 2014, I started a job from a place of lack and fear, & I gave in to the concept that our society drills into our head, which is...
An obsession of control over our outcomes and having a "sense" of security at ALL TIMES.
I recognized that at first it made me feel in control & secure in my life, but as time went on I realized that it was just smoke and mirrors.
Most of the time, I felt unexcited about life. Because one of the best things in life is not knowing what can happen.
𝐈'𝐥𝐥 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧:
Let's say you work a "secure" job in which you know exactly the income you're going to make.
This might seem attractive at first because you can plan everything and know your outcome way down the road.
But the flip side is that you know exactly what's going to happen every week, month, year, after year, after year...
You see, the thing about the unknown is that it's one of the biggest contributors to creating an exciting or fulfilling life.
Without risk or the unknown, we can lose excitement in our lives, and MANY opportunities to grow & enjoy our lives to the fullest.
𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲...
Don't be afraid to have a little risk in your life. Let go of trying to control every little thing and the idea of building "security" in your life.
Because one day you too might just wake up & see that security, and knowing the result of every outcome, can turn into a prison.

Having trouble keeping your morale up?...
I definitely go through waves during the week where I lose focus and drive.
It’s so key to be able to remember what you’ve accomplished and how you’ve gotten to where you are today.
This Ritual always revitalizes my morale.
It reminds me of my identity and what I’m capable of today and in the future.

In a journal write down:
1. An accomplishment you’re proud of
2. What you learned from it
3. The age you accomplished it at (I use this because it’s easier to remember my accomplishments)
Next time you’re feeling incapable, read through this list and remind yourself of what you’re capable of doing!
Hit me up on a DM if you’re interested in a PDF that I made for this exercise!

“I’m not capable because of my intelligence”...
This is something I used to think all the time. I didn’t have the best education, in fact, my siblings agree that I was illiterate until age 14.
Growing up that left me with a lot of self-doubt in my capabilities.
I didn’t start taking my education and personal growth seriously until I was around 18, and by then I was quite far behind.
It’s taking me a solid 10 years to get to a place where I’m confident with who I am.
But I wouldn’t change it for anything else because it’s made me who I am. And I’m proud of that person.
Our limiting believes can hold us back forever if we don’t identify them and continuously work on them.
Even if it feels impossible.
Don’t ever give up and stay consistent, so you can turn that limiting belief into:
“I’m intelligent because I choose to educate myself”

Do you invest in yourself?
There’s no doubt that the best investment you can make is in yourself.
Your rate of return is infinite!
Investing in yourself not only increase your potential to make more money, but it will also improve your overall wealth in family, friends, lifestyle, development...etc
The three days at Fast Foundations Mastermind this week were life-changing!
, , and put on something truly amazing and brought together 40+ amazing human beings that truly support each other in business and life.
I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this experience and be invited into a family that Chris and Lori created.
This year is going to be full of growing pains for me, and maybe also for you.
But life is all about our challenges and how we rise to face them.
Learn to embrace your challenges...
Because when you do, there’s nothing you can’t archive 💪🏻❤️ @ Victoria, British Columbia
