Final Day of the Shihan Bill Gasshuku

What an incredible weekend of training, learning, and friendship. As we wrap up the final day of the Shihan Bill Gasshuku, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Shihan Bill for sharing his knowledge, experience, and passion for Kimura Shukokai Karate.

Thank you to all the students who attended, trained hard, and supported one another throughout the weekend. The spirit, dedication, and camaraderie on display made this Gasshuku truly special.

We are grateful for the opportunity to train together in beautiful British Columbia and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Gasshuku Day 2 with Shihan Bill Bressaw

Nothing beats training outdoors in beautiful British Columbia! Day 2 of Gasshuku with Shihan Bill Bressaw was held in the stunning setting of North Saanich, and the weather couldn’t have been more perfect.

Students enjoyed an incredible afternoon of learning, hard work, and camaraderie while taking in the fresh air and scenic surroundings. The day was topped off with a wonderful dinner together at Sen Zushi, sharing great food, stories, and laughs.

Thank you to Shihan Bill for another fantastic day of training and memories. We look forward to Day 3!

An excellent start to the weekend with Black and Brown Belt training led by Shihan Bill Bressaw joint World Chief Instructor Kimura Shukokai Karate.

The dojo was filled with focus, energy, and a strong desire to learn. Shihan Bill’s attention to detail and technical expertise challenged everyone to raise their level and continue striving for excellence.

Shihan Bill Bressaw is a 9th Dan black belt and World Chief Instructor of Kimura Shukokai Karate International. A direct student of Shigeru Kimura for over 30 years, he is renowned for his deep knowledge of body mechanics, power, and precision. Shihan Bressaw continues to travel the world, sharing his expertise and preserving the legacy of Kimura Shukokai Karate.
