The Town of Virden is seeking an energetic and organized individual to join our team as Recreation and Events Coordinator.

This exciting role is responsible for assisting with the planning, coordination, and delivery of recreation programs and community events, while serving as the primary booking liaison for Tundra Oil & Gas Place. The successful candidate will work closely with community organizations, manage facility bookings, coordinate special events and programs, and oversee the summer day camp program.

Key responsibilities include:

✅ Coordinating recreation programs and community events
✅ Managing facility bookings and rental agreements
✅ Planning tournaments, camps, and holiday activities
✅ Creating marketing materials and promotional campaigns
✅ Working with staff, volunteers, and community partners
✅ Assisting with grant applications and program development

Applicants should possess strong communication and organizational skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
