We’re excited to introduce Sarah Jobes to our team as a Dance Instructor! Sarah will be teaching Mixtape Dance classes on Tuesdays at 6:10pm this term and leading the Heels Dancing troupe for the Halloween Showcase! 💃
Sarah has danced for as long as she can remember. She has trained in jazz, tap, ballet, lyrical, hip hop, contemporary, modern, and pointe. She grew up in a competitive dance environment, and attended Eastwood Collegiate for their Integrated Arts Program, majoring in dance and drama. She completed her Acrobatic Arts Module 1 certification in 2020.
She found Brass Butterflies in 2024 as a former dancer looking to use her transferable skills to learn something new. She has been loving her time learning pole and hammock here!
In her free time, she makes a lot of crafts and cuddles with her cats.
Fun fact: she was born with her feet sickled and was put in dance as a child at the recommendation of her physio team to help strengthen her ankles and has never looked back!
