Our Elites are gearing up and almost ready for their first competition of the season in November! 💙💚

✨ SEASON 2, DAY ONE! ✨

What an amazing first day back! 💙💚 We welcomed our new and returning dancers back to class, and it was so wonderful to see the studio filled with energy, smiles, and lots of dancing! 🩰

A huge shoutout to our fabulous assistants, who were absolutely amazing in their dance classes today! We are so lucky to have such wonderful dancers helping make our classes extra special for our community.

We are also so excited to have a special box from Wellness on Wheels at the studio! 💙 Students are welcome to take an item from the box whenever they need one. Wellness on Wheels is a community-driven youth mental health initiative founded by Olivia Lipton, and we are so happy to have this wonderful resource available to our students. 💚

And a HUGE thank you to my Mom & Dad for all of your help preparing for today and for working alongside me. I love and appreciate you both more than you know!

We are SO excited for the rest of our first week back and everything Season 2 has in store! Let the dancing begin! 💙💚

✨ Introducing Our Micro Minis! ✨

Our final competitive team introduction is here, and we are so excited to introduce our youngest dancers! 💙💚

The Micro Minis are 5 young dancers who are bursting with excitement to join our competitive team. We cannot wait to watch them learn, grow, build confidence, and discover all that dance has to offer throughout their time at Pointe Taken Dance.

Miss Evelyn will be assisting this group this year, and we are so thankful and grateful for her help! She was there behind the scenes at our photoshoot, helping pose and support our dancers, and we are so excited to have her alongside our Micro Minis this season.

We look forward to watching this special little team grow throughout this year and, hopefully, throughout their many years at Pointe Taken Dance. There is so much ahead for these dancers, and we cannot wait to see where their journey takes them! ✨

At Pointe Taken Dance, we are a community. As our new season begins tomorrow, we are excited to welcome our dancers back into the studio and begin Season 2! Let this year be a year of growth, challenging ourselves, and making memories to last a lifetime. 💙💚

These dancers are ready to bring ALL the sunshine to the stage this year! ☀️ We are so excited to watch them grow, learn, and make so many special memories together throughout their first competition season.

We are also so excited to have Miss Annabelle joining us as their Competitive Dance Assistant! 💙💚 Annabelle P. A. will be there to support our dancers throughout the season and has already been such a wonderful help behind the scenes, including helping Miss Emma pose our dancers for their team photos! Thank you, Miss Annabelle, for all that you do! 🩰

There is SO much to look forward to for this group, and we cannot wait to see what this year has in store for our Mini Competition Dancers!

✨ Introducing Our Junior & Intermediate Dancers! ✨

This season, our Junior and Intermediate dancers are stepping into something special! These talented dancers will be learning, growing, performing, and creating together throughout the season. These two groups will dance together as they continue to build confidence, artistry, technique, and a love for dance.

There is something so exciting about watching dancers grow not only as individuals, but also as a team. We can’t wait to see the friendships, memories, and beautiful moments they create together this year!

A huge thank you to the Hopewell Highlands for opening up your beautiful venue to our dancers this week so we could capture their Team Photos! We are so grateful for your support of our dancers and our growing dance community. 💙💚

✨ Meet Our Guest Instructors for the Next Wave! ✨

We are so excited to welcome two amazing guest instructors to Next Wave starting August 24th to August 28th.

Movi Movement will be joining us to introduce our dancers to the benefits of Pilates, helping them build strength, control, stability, and body awareness.

Ellyn Smith, who currently studies at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet, will be joining us to share her training, experience, and passion for dance with our dancers!

Our Next Wave Camp runs Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM–4:30 PM.

At Pointe Taken Dance, we are a community. We strive to always put our dancers first, creating a space where they feel supported, encouraged, and confident to be themselves. We challenge our dancers to grow, work hard, and step outside their comfort zones, while making sure they are having fun along the way.

Some of our classes are already FULL, with waitlists beginning, so don’t wait until it’s too late to secure your spot.

Whether your dancer is brand new to dance or returning for another year, we can’t wait to have them be part of our PTD family!
