I love this picture of Hoku Sei Kan girl power. These girls are strong and amazing. When Chevy felt nervous before her fight Mackenzie stepped up and almost immediately calmed her down and made her feel better. She played a huge part in making this weekend a successful one for Chevy. This club is so supportive, I'm proud to be apart of it. 😍

THE TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO MAKE CHANGES AS DEEMED NECESSARY ACCORDING TO JUDO CANADA AND JUDO BC SANCTION POLICIES with the aim of creating groups of 4-5 judokas of like weights, age and skills in a round-robin format.
* Females MUST wear a plain white t-shirt under their judogi.
* Competitors must wear indoor shoes or slippers on their feet whenever they are not on the mats
*WHITE GIS ARE MANDATORY. Blue gis are optional.
*1st name called must wear white Judogi. Blue judogis are optional only for second name called.
*Judo Canada rule modifications as per current posted Tournament Policy
*Throw Demonstrations, U8 and U10 contests will not be scored at mat side. Participants will receive participation awards.
*U12 contests will be scored and awarded in the β€œFair Play” format and will be recognized as, and participant during awards.
*U14 contests and older will be scored as first, second, third, with two third places awarded when 5 or more competitors in the division.
*There will be a concession on site with healthy snacks and drinks.

Hey guys! Judo Alberta is holding a raffle! The jackpot is almost $3500! Tickets prices are 1 for $10, 4 for $20, 20 for $50 and 100 for $100! There's only 11 days left!
Funds raised from the Christmas Raffle will go towards athletes travel costs to the 2023 Open National Judo Championships in Montreal, Quebec. Judo Alberta wants to have as many athletes participating at this event as possible and we need your help to support our team. Come support our athletes reach new heights!

FUNDRAISER TIME!

Our club is is hosting a Gift Card Fundraiser. It is super simple we will receive a percentage of each gift card sold back from the vendor (as noted on the forms).

They make great gifts like Christmas, Birthday's & Anniversaries, staff appreciation/incentives or just because! Let's face it we are going to spend some of this money monthly anyways (groceries, fuel etc.) why not buy some gift cards to use and help out our local kids at the same time!

All proceeds go back in to our program, training and equipment!

Thanks to our amazing community neighbors at Pinnacle Picker Services Ltd. we have our storage shed over to the home of our new dojo at Source Energy Arena & Recreation Centre! We couldn’t be happier to finally be completely moved over!

Thank you BJ Gordon, Darcy Adams, Richard & Mackenzie Querin as well as our friends Aiden & Drake Bates for helping move the mats back into the shed once the move was done....we appreciate all the help!
