Happy National coaches week! Introducing Donika and Simone!

Donika -
Beyond the incredible rewarding physicality of the sport, it is FUN! Flipping and twisting and catapulting is a kind of specialized play that gymnasts have the privilege to participate in and I truly love watching gymnasts enjoy the sport.

Simone -
Outside of coaching you will find Simone training and working hard as a level 7 athlete. She also loves to bake in her free time!

Mona -
Mona loves to dance and is often helping our athletes to fine-tune their dance skills!

Nat -
Something I love about coaching:
Seeing the lightblub moment and the smile when an athlete achieves something they have worked hard for and it all just clicks for them.

Fun fact:
Outside of the gym you will find me bouncing on a trampoline as a elite athlete, representing my home nation of New Zealand, or chasing the sun elsewhere in the world through one of the 34 countries I've visited so far!

Happy National coaches week! Introducing Lila and Maya

Lila -
Something I love about coaching:
My favourite thing about being a gymnastics coach is watching my athletes grow and develop their skills and being proud of themselves for their achievements.

Fun fact:
Most winters since my early childhood have been spent on the mountains skiing. I have grown up on the slopes of Whistler and spend as much time there as the gym. I’ve also spent time as a volunteer ski coach!

Maya -
Something I love about coaching:
I love watching athletes grow over the years, build their confidence, and achieve skills and goals they once thought were impossible.

Fun Fact:
I recently started nursing school, and in my free time I love spending time outdoors with my friends, family, and dogs!
