🔥 BRONC RIDING DUMMY NIGHTS 🔥

We recently purchased a brand new Link Weaver bronc riding dummy, and we’re getting ready to start hosting dummy nights at Kissing Horse Ranch.

Bring your bronc saddle, ba****ck rigging, ranch bronc saddle or whatever you ride. We’ll work through drills, fundamentals, timing, balance and body position in a controlled environment.

Dummy nights will be held during the week in the evenings. If we have a group of kids wanting to come out, we can also line up a daytime session on the weekend.

Whether you’re just getting started or looking to sharpen up between rodeos, come get on, learn a few things, hang out and have some fun.

That’s a wrap on the 2026 Bulkley Valley Exhibition!

From Thursday through Monday, we had the opportunity to work with and start more than ten horses in front of an incredible crowd. The audience was engaged, curious, and genuinely interested in the process. The questions, conversations, and support made every session that much more rewarding.

I cannot speak highly enough about the staff, volunteers, organizers, and everyone behind this event. The professionalism and hospitality were outstanding, but what impressed me most was the tremendous support from the entire community.

In a time when many communities are losing touch with their agricultural roots, the Bulkley Valley is keeping them alive. This fair represents what a true family fall fair should be. Good people coming together, supporting agriculture, celebrating tradition, and creating something the entire community can be proud of.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, watched a session, asked a question, shared a conversation, or trusted us with a horse. It was an honour to be part of such a well run and well supported event.

The Bulkley Valley left a lasting impression on us, and we sincerely hope to return in 2027.

Had a hell of a good trip down to Billings, Montana!

We took seven really nice papered horses down to Billings Livestock Horse Sale and couldn’t be happier with how it all went. Five found new homes in the States, and we brought two back home that sold to a great gentleman here in Canada. All seven sold, and we’re proud to have our name behind every one of them.

We went down a couple days early, got settled in and gave people a chance to try the horses and visit with us before the sale. Really glad we made the time for that.

A big thank you to everyone who bought a horse, stopped by to visit or helped us along the way. We met some really good people and made plenty of connections we’re looking forward to keeping.

We put a lot of time into these horses, and it means a lot when people appreciate them and trust what we’re doing. Looking forward to getting back down to the States and showing you folks more of what we’ve got coming up here at Kissing Horse Ranch.

We’ll be at Sky Creek Ranch Montana in Billings Thursday and Friday before the preview. Come throw a saddle on one and see for yourself.

We didn’t haul 800 miles south just to fill a trailer. We brought horses we’re proud to ride and proud to put our name on.

Heading down to Brooks, Alberta in the next little while and we’ll have room on the trailer for 4 or 5 horses in private stud stalls.

If you need a horse hauled to or from anywhere along the route, we’d be happy to help.

We’ll also have time to fit in a few first rides, c**t starts, or tune ups along the way if you’ve got a horse that could use some miles.
