Congrats goes out to the VTMTL-United team who stepped into the spotlight and shared their kung fu for everyone to see. Our team came back with 13 medals. Podium or not, I'm proud of every member who went out there and give it their all.

Openhouse: Sept 11-21 (mondays and thursdays 6:00-7:30pm). An introduction to the chinese martial art of Wing Chun kung fu, our friendly community will ensure that everyone has a good experience. Our cooperative learning environment has all levels from novice to expert working and learning together. Practical exercises are hands-on in a group environment and with 1-on-1 practice to develop balance, coordination, and relaxation.
Our classes typically consists of members from the dawson community (students, alumni, and staff) but all are welcome.

Happy birthday GrandMaster Sunny Tang! Congratulations on 50 years of teaching and spreading the art of wing chun! You are the shoulders from which we all stand on. Thank you for all your love and support over the years. Without you, my sigung Walter Jakimczuk, and my sifu Darrell Carreon, me and my students would be here. We are very lucky. We wish you many more years of health and happiness.

Come check us out and bring a friend! We have a diverse group of dawson members (students, alumni, and staff) and non-dawson members from many different ages and back grounds.
Our relaxed and friendly environment caters to every individual and progressively helps you to build your balance and co-ordination while developing the skills required for personal protection and/or sports combat.
Certifications and grades are available but not required. Opportunities for competition are also available.
No special equipment or dress needed. Just wear clean, comfortable clothes and shoes.
