🚨 TRADE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

The Westport Lumberjacks have acquired forward Zach Masterson, along with cash considerations, from the Deseronto Bulldogs in exchange for forwards Ryan Smith and Ben Carter.

We’re extremely excited to welcome Zach to Westport. He brings an impressive resume, recording 143 points (57G, 86A) in 77 career PJCHL games, along with 158 PIMs. He has also recorded 59 points and 120 PIMs in 40 career NPHL games.

Zach brings a great combination of skill, offensive production and grit, which will be a huge addition to our lineup.

🚨 PLAYER SIGNING 🚨

The Westport Lumberjacks are excited to announce the signing of forward Will Herrick for the upcoming NPHL season!

The 6'1 20-year-old forward brings a combination of skill, size, and speed to the Lumberjacks lineup. Will is a strong two-way player who most recently served as Assistant Captain with the Renfrew Timberwolves, recording 23 points in 31 games during the 2025–26 EOJHL season.

A hard-working competitor who plays with an edge, Will was also the EOJHL’s most penalized player in each of the last two seasons, showing his combination of skill and physical style.

We’re excited to add Will’s skill, leadership, and intensity to the Lumberjacks lineup this season!
