Last but not least, time to showcase our U11 Rattlers!!

Be sure to follow U11 Weyburn Thrashers as they will be lighting up the socials during field lacrosse season! Catch their games live and follow along with their antics as they grow and develop this season.

The parents & coaches of U11 played a valuable role in ensuring our August 30 festival was successful by assisting with prep work prior to event, painting lines, setting up nets & stations, along with being the final team on the field to do final clean up of the day. Thank you to everyone for your hard work!

Adapting and overcoming obstacles. That’s what our U17 athletes were able to achieve at Weyburn Field Lacrosse festival on August 30.

The registration numbers are low but we were able to adapt and include them on the Moose Jaw Mustangs Lacrosse team. Thank you Moose Jaw for being so welcoming so these athletes could play field lacrosse this season!

See an athlete with a smile on their face? Pretty good chances there was a coach involved.

A coach who can outline plays on a white board is a dime a dozen. But a coach who inspires, supports and encourages their players are worth more than gold.

We have some amazing volunteers with Weyburn Lacrosse Association. Not only have we got dedicated head coaches running practices and organizing events. But we also have parents who understand success starts with lending a helping hand on and off the field.

You have been seen. We appreciate your dedication. Keep it up!! Without our coaches & volunteers, we do not succeed.

This weekend wrapped up with the final practices as U17 Team Sask Field Team prepare for the 2026 Alumni & First Nations Cup this coming up weekend, September 3-6, 2026.

The Alumni & First Nationa Cup brings together the top U17 and U19 Men’s field lacrosse athletes from across Canada for four days of high-level national competition.

Hosted in Langley, BC, this championship showcases the next generation of talent, with athletes representing Saskatchewan as they compete for national titles. Fast-paced, highly skilled, and deeply competitive, the event highlights the strength and continued growth of the men’s field game in Canada.

For players, this is more than a championship – it’s an opportunity to perform, be seen, and take the next step in their development.
