An exciting new special exhibition will open at the on September 17! 'Out of Control: The Concrete Art of Skateboarding' reveals the intersection between contemporary art and skateboarding. The exhibition brings together 19 local, national and international artists who embody diversity in their practice and explore aesthetic, social, environmental, political, and architectural aspects of skateboarding.

Featured Artists include Raymond Boisjoly (), Karin Bubaš (), Andrew Dadson (), Hannah Dubois (.jpg), Noah Friebel (), Tim Gardner (), Dan Graham, Bracken Hanuse Corlett (), Christian Huizenga (.huizenga), Mikaela Kautzky (), Andrew Kent (), Cameron Kerr (.cameron), Alex Morrison (), Michelle Pezel (), Samuel Roy-Bois (), Ron Terada, Ian Wallace, Amir Zaki (amir_zaki), and Raphaël Zarka ().

‘Out of Control’ is organized by the Audain Art Museum, Whistler, British Columbia. The exhibition is guest curated by Patrik Andersson, in collaboration with the Museum’s Gail & Stephen A. Jarislowsky Curator Kiriko Watanabe.

We have partnered up with & to bring you a fun event on Wednesday afternoon!

Come skate with , Olympian and one of our own They will be skateboarding with the youth and signing autographs.

Time: 1-4pm

Ages: All ages Male & Female

Event: Skate jam, expression session in the new section of skatepark for prizing. 3 different features will be picked to session.

Cost: Free event

Waivers: Everyone 19 and under must wear a helmet and have a waiver signed by a parent.
