Most people love the idea of getting in great shape.
But when faced with the reality of prioritising workouts over drinking with friends or realising that you need to spend time and money every week organising your diet. They often fall flat at the first hurdle! So if youโre are going to do this you need to really want it, and understand that there is sacrifices involved.

You canโt go in blind with zero structure to your training.
There is a big difference between exercising and training.
Training, is a structured and targeted regime with planned progression, exercise is essentially anything where you get your heart rate up.
You also need the diet that is right for you, otherwise you can spend a lot of effort and get zero results for your time.

You might have decided you want to look like Brad Pit from Fight Club, but if you are completely untrained itโs going to take more than just a 16 week grind of intense training and dieting! To train is ultimately a lifestyle and although you can great results in a short period of time, if you want to reach your own personal best, chances are it will taken more time than that.
You canโt rush it, the only answer is consistency and some weeks will be better than others, but ultimately if you stick at it the results will come.
