I am excited to be sharing and caring in whistler community, why we must co exist together and how to live and understand our wildlife.
There habits the lives of bears what they eat, why they come into community, and what we can do to assist ourselves and the bears.
Yoga past 39 years teaches us the 8 limb system and how we shape shift through our practices.

We take our practise off the mat to serve our communities which includes all beings.
Walking with giants is a privilege and something we need to step up, and we need to have a way to work together without systems that don’t work and just end either the death of our bears.
For along time the narrative of false headlines fear mongering has not helped.
We need solid information, respect for wild life and things in place that can protect communities and the bears.
People need truth.
Applying ahimsa (the foundational yogic and Buddhist principle of non-violence and compassion) to bears means coexisting respectfully. Whistler, BC, is prime bear territory, this translates to removing attractants, giving them ample space, and advocating for non-lethaL approach to our bears.
“I truly believe that humans can find a way to live in peace with bears if they observe and learn. Learn to be open and understanding. Bears do not create a problem, our behaviour does. We have a lot of work to do regarding the way we think and behave toward bears and other animals. Open your mind and educate yourself and we can live together.
Our website created by my dear friend Ellie lamb and Yvonne, with our bear sister Trish, Katrin, and Gosia.
Studying with Wayne is the work we do together.

Ends: 9:00 AM

Morning Flow: Sound & Movement Immersion is a guided 2-hour practice designed to awaken the body, settle the mind, and invite a deeper sense of connection through breath, rhythm, and sound.

Set in the peaceful surroundings of Nita Lake, this immersive session weaves together meditation, mantra, Vinyasa flow, and breathwork, all supported by a thoughtfully curated Beatles-inspired soundtrack. The experience unfolds like a journey, balancing elements of fire and water to gently energize, open, and restore.

Rooted in the philosophy of yoga as a practice of attunement, this offering invites you beyond physical movement into a more integrated state of awareness. Through sound, breath, and intentional sequencing, the body and mind are guided toward a sense of harmony and resonance.

Yoga Twists: Wringing Out the Body Length, Strength & Spaciousness

Sunday June 14, 2026

Starts: 7:00 AM
Ends: 9:00 AM

Sound track Delta Blues.

Practise using gravity and the breath to ride the body’s own wave.

Join Tina for a deep dive into the art and science of yoga twists. In this 2-hour immersion, you’ll learn how to twist safely and effectively to enhance spinal mobility, build functional strength, and support long-term back health. Twists are powerful postures that rotate the spine while stretching the surrounding muscles of the back and torso. Practiced regularly, they help restore and maintain the spine’s natural range of motion, release tension, and create essential space between the vertebrae. Through mindful twisting, we lengthen the spine, hydrate the tissues, and create more room for energy to flow freely throughout the body.
