Hi Everyone,

More sliding dates coming up! Even if you have never done it before no experience is required.

Please Read the email below from Ivo and maybe we can plan some trips soon! Anyone who is interested on going up on those dates please let me know ASAP. Also if you know anyone else who is interested even if they aren't from SFU let me know (Email me at [email protected]) !

There is one school coming up on December.

December 14 1-2:30pm
December 15 12-1:30pm

Costs: 100CAD membership fee plus 80CAD per sliding day( cash or cheques
only. NO credit cards)

Outwear: ski pants, jacket without hood and gloves!

Be 1 hour earlier( so 2pm) at guest services building to do paperwork.
guest services building is located at the bottom of the Whistler sliding
centre, you will see the signs!

Hi everyone,

I realize most of you have not yet participated in anything with the Bobsleigh and Skeleton Club, but we really need your help and you will make 5$ for it!

The deadline for our club to reach the amount of members we need to stay an official club is coming up at the end of this week, and we really need the members as it will mean SFU Recreation will give us $300-$500 next year if we reach this.

So I am offering you 5$ if you go to the SFU Recreation office and sign up for the club. Signing up does not mean you have to participate in any of the activities we do, but you are always welcome to do so if you want.

So what will happen is if you go to the recreation office and sign up it will cost 5$, then after if you EMAIL me ([email protected]) saying you signed up I will give you 10$ back. So you make 5$.

This will only take about 5 minutes, and if any of you could take the time to do this you could really make a big difference and I would greatly appreciate it!

Hey everyone!

Today is clubs days! For those of you around to check us out, we'll be at Table 127. We'll be tabling with the TEP club, a club which has been working with us through coordinating sprint training and co-hosting the pub night last semester!

And those of you interested in sliding with us this semester, remember to sign up officially at the Rec Office! The club membership fee is $5.

Hi everyone,

If you are planning on going up to Whistler with us this coming weekend at Whistler I need you to confirm by tomorrow night(Tuesday)at midnight at the latest.

Also if you have not attended our meeting or anything you are still able to come try, no experience is required! This would be a great thing to try out over the holidays and would be an amazing experience to share with your friends!

SFU Bobsleigh and Skeleton is having a contest for the design of there new shirts! Think of some awesome design and include the words SFU, Bobsleigh, and Skeleton on it. Winner of the contest gets a FREE shirt! Design submissions can be sent to [email protected] . This contest is open to everyone!

Whistler is opening this weekend and we have a couple open spots for a ride up there! Here are the details:

we've got 2 spots available going up to whistler this saturday morning, and/or back to vancouver on sunday afternoon.
-leaving from metrotown on saturday the 17th around 745am, SFU around 830am
-leaving whistler on sunday the 18th around 4pm
