We are thrilled to welcome Coach Felipe Escobar to the Whitby Swimming family!

Coach Felipe is no stranger to the Whitby pool deck. A former Whitby Dolphin himself, Felipe went on to graduate from Laurentian University, where he competed as a varsity swimmer for four years.

After more than 15 years as a competitive swimmer, Felipe transitioned into teaching and coaching, developing a philosophy centered around hard work, challenging swimmers to push beyond what they think they are capable of, andā€”most importantlyā€”having fun along the way.

Felipe has coached with Pickering Swimming and Canadian Dolphins Swim Club in Vancouver. He helped develop swimmers achieve Best of the West, Divisional, and Provincial qualifications, finalists and medalists.

Now, Felipe is excited to bring his passion for swimming, coaching experience, and teaching background to Whitby Swimming. Welcome home, Coach Felipe!
