Congrats to Nico McDonald, who made his BCHL debut last night with the Surrey Eagles Hockey Club as they took on the Port Alberni Bulldogs!

Nico joined fellow Whalers alumni Sean Robins and Jacob McNally to become the third White Rock player this month to make the jump to the BCHL and made a real impact with a net-front assist on the power play showing the skillset he established with the Whalers as a deadly net-front presence on the power play for the Pod last season!

Proof that the skills developed here in the PJHL will translate to the next level!

The White Rock Whalers are proud to announce that Devon Atwal will be continuing his hockey journey with the Williams Lake Mustangs! 🏒🐋

A hometown player who grew up in Semiahmoo Minor Hockey, Devon played on the U18 A1 team started his PJHL journey with PoCo and joined the Whalers last year via trade and we were so glad to be able to bring him home to play for White Rock! Devon represents everything we want a White Rock Whaler to be: hardworking, tough, loyal and deeply committed to his community.

We know he will be a tremendous addition to the Williams Lake Mustangs organization as he continues pursuing his hockey goals, and we have no doubt that he will make an equally meaningful contribution to his new community.

Please join us in congratulating Devon and thanking him for everything he has contributed during his time with the White Rock Whalers.

Best of luck in Williams Lake, Devon! Once a Whaler, Always a Whaler! 🐋🐋

We’re proud to announce that Sean Robins has signed with the Surrey Eagles of the BCHL! 🦅

A hometown player who played with Semiahmoo Minor Hockey, then came to the White Rock Whalers and built on his game within a Junior hockey environment focused on his development and advancement within the Junior hockey pathway, Sean now takes the next step in his hockey journey to play in one of the top Junior leagues in North America.

An integral member of our 2026 PJHL Championship team, Sean made a lasting impact through his hard work, leadership, and commitment to our organization and community.

Helping players reach the next level is at the heart of the White Rock Whalers program, and we’re proud to have supported Sean along the way.

Congratulations, Sean! We can’t wait to see what you accomplish next! 🐋
