No Limits Fishing

An awesome couple days fishing the Annual Greg Horoky Memorial Shoot-Out ! We had a great pre-fish on Big Fish Friday, but fell short of top 10 on Saturday by a hair! Shoutout to Colchester Walleye League for putting together another solid event for a good cause. This tournament brings out the best anglers and some huge numbers considering the rocky weather. Congratulations to all the winners and can’t wait for next year already.

The ticket for us was trolling crankbaits with snap weights close to bottom. Off Shore Tackle Company OR-12 boards were key in spreading our baits out and taking a beating in those rollers! All our big fish bit on one drift each day, patience was key 🤘🏾

A few more years and I’ll be the old man on the boat with Owen and Easton ! 👴🏽

The world lost a walleye fishing legend yesterday in Greg Horoky. My final words to Greg would be to thank him, thank him for believing in me when so many wouldn’t. For giving me a chance to show everyone who doubted me that I deserve and earned a seat at the table. Thank you for your kind words of advice, knowledge , and fishing wisdom. I hope heaven is filled with hawg walleye and perfect golf conditions. 🍻

It’s been a minute since I’ve done a musky trip! With a the help of a few local fishermen and one dynamite guide ,I was pointed in the right direction and got the job done ✅ 2/3 on the afternoon!
