Winkler Wild Youth Soccer

Thanks to all the players who registered for Winkler Wild this year! We are looking forward to a great season!

Player Assessments dates for 2026:
U10 - April 2, 5:15 pm - 8:15 pm
U12 - April 11, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm
U14 - April 10, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
U16 - April 11, 8:00 am - 9:00 pm

Players will be divided into small groups and assigned a 1-hour time slot during the Player Assessment session for their age group. Players do not need to be present for the entire session, just for their time slot. Details and your player's specific time slot will be emailed to you.

U10 Player Assessment details were emailed out on March 24, please check your spam folders if you do not see it in your inbox.
Details for U12-U16 will be emailed out later this week.

We are very excited to be offering a Girls Only U17 division this year but we still need a few more girls to make a Winkler team! If you know of any girls Grade 9-11 that would be interested in playing send them to winklerwild.com to get all the info and to register before this Thursday, February 12!

The Winkler Wild Soccer League is a volunteer run organization and without enough volunteers we will be unable to move forward with our 2026 season.

Several of our executive members no longer have children in the program and have moved on to other things, without new members to replace them we can not move forward with the 2026 season. 2026 is also a tournament year for us which requires extra planning. Please consider joining our executive or tournament planning committee so we are able to continue to offer our players a fun and competitive youth soccer program in Winkler!

U17 Girls | Girls born in 2009/2010/2011

Practices - determined by the team coach
Season starts week of April 27 with final tournament in June

NEW THIS SEASON: We will be offering separate U16 Boys and U17 Girls teams this season. If there are not enough girls from each community to fill a team, girls will be given the opportunity to join a team from another community. If we are unable to create enough girls teams across the league, girls will be given the option to play with the boys on a co-ed team.

We are getting ready to open registration for the 2026 season! In order to open our registration on time we need more volunteers to make sure we will have the support needed to run another successful year of Wild Soccer! We are excited to see how this program continues to grow each year but to ensure we are able to keep providing a fun and competitive soccer league for our growing number of young players, we rely on dedicated volunteers like you to make it happen!
