Senso Kiakuama was born June 16, 1965 in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo. He played on the basketball team B.C. Onatra at the time.

After being fortunate enough to be able to witness the fight between Muhammed Ali and George Foreman in Kinsasa as a child, Senso Kiakuama has always been involved in boxing since then. He grew up in Knishasa and left at the age of 12 to travel to Matadi City in Kongo Central to complete his schooling.
