What a great 2 days at HelpAge Canada CBSS sector Summit in Winnipeg!

Mayor Scott Gillingham stopped by to check out our Winnipeg-made innovation IncluzIT HOME and hear about our Actionable Aging™️ approach. He shared how his Dad is still zip lining at 80 and supported the impact that our platform will have across Canada helping people to navigate and plan for safe aging at home!

So many great speakers and organizations serving seniors across Canada came together to share and learn and help inform policy and create better impacts for older adults and their caregivers.

Today, on National Caregiver Day, we celebrate the dedication, compassion, and resilience of those who care for others, whether at home, in our communities, or within care facilities.
Caregivers are the heartbeat of support, providing dignity, comfort, and hope every day. 💙 Thank you for all that you do to make aging and living well possible.

Social prescribing enables healthcare providers to refer patients to local, non-clinical community services such older adult programming, exercise groups, transportation services and more, to address social determinants of health like loneliness, isolation, and, in many cases, mental health. It acts as a “link” between medical care and community resources, improving overall wellbeing and reducing pressure on the healthcare system.

We are making social prescribing easier for all in our platform IncluzIT HOME, to help connect older adults and their supporters to the services they need, when they need them most!
