Just chillin post workout with a 20 + year friend and training client. One of us worked hard the other didn’t. Can you guess who’s who? I’ll give you a clue. I didn’t work hard…
On another note, apparently I don’t skip “leg day” but only do my left leg when training 😂 I wonder how I can play around with other camera angles to make things look bigger 🤔

Starting is the easy part. A challenge, a nutrition habit, an exercise routine, a business.
The challenge isn’t in the beginning when it’s exciting and new. The challenge is what happens when you’re tired and run down. When you’re not succeeding or seeing immediate progress or results, when the habits you created become a struggle to continue doing.
If you continue to do what’s needed, the results will be a byproduct of what you set out to do.

Just one little thing. Just change one little thing each day and it will add up.

The toughest part is always getting there. That could be driving your ass to the gym or changing into your gym clothes and heading into the basement or the garage. Once you get there, something amazing happens. The hard part is already done and all you need to do is move.
Anytime you show up, you’ll never regret it.

Over the years I’ve met a lot of people that didn’t have support. Support for making better choices, exercising, nutrition and creating a better life.
It’s hard to make changes when you’re surrounded by negativity and people who don’t want you to succeed or people who feel the need to bring you down so they don’t need to feel bad about themselves and the choices they choose to make.
I’m not saying finding a new supportive group is the only answer but changing yourself and your habits is easier than changing others who are happy with theirs.

It’s that simple…

Don’t expect more if you’re doing the minimum.
Ask yourself what more you could be doing and how you could be doing it better to accelerate your results.
That’s the way to fast track the way to your destination.

The reason we are where we are is because of consistency. Consistent good choices or consistent bad choices will put us in our place over and over again.
Put in the effort no matter if it’s 65% or 100%. As long as it’s in the direction you want to go, you’re still making progress.
