Max effort day
Work up to a single rep max. This is done for maximal inter and intra muscle recruitment. As well to see where your body will break down first. ( this is not dangerous now does it make you sore. )
Supplemental exercise was static effort over come by dynamic effort. This is done to help overcome barriers  on sticking points. Your body will remember the effort it gave from the pins to transfer into the lift.

Build better shoulders by incorporating some of these exercises into your workout routine

1) wall angels. A great range of motion warm up and tester. Keep your core engaged back against the wall. Elbow bent at 90 degrees. Keep the wrist straight.

2) 3 point banded wall taps-  great for strengthening the rotator cuff. Gently touching the wall with both hands. Reach as far up and away from the shoulder, second is as far out to the side, third reach away and down.

3) kettlebell windmills- great for shoulder stability. Also  core, and some hamstring activations. Important keep shoulder set and your core braced.

Sled work is great for any sport even combat athletes can use sleds incorporated into workouts.
