Oh the 🏋️‍♀️power of three little letters on the mindset if huge‼️

I’m sure you have heard, I can’t do this! Adding the simple word yet to the end of that changes the mindset from fixed to growth. It promotes progress and moving forward, “you’re right you can’t do that yet, but let’s think of how we could get started.”

This mindset is so important for perfectionists. We (I’m including myself as I’m a recovering perfectionist 😉) so often are stuck in a fixed mindset because we need things a certain way in order to start them, or complete them. We often attach our self worth to our effort and our outcomes and our outcomes must be perfect or we won’t start.

Try this simple word with your children this weekend and see how the mentality shifts. You can even try this with anxiety, it totally works.
