Congratulations to our Assistant Teacher Gillian! We couldn’t do it without her! 🎓🎉

We had a ridiculously warm but successful weekend at the MHDA’s Mid Canada Championship weekend!

On Saturday morning K and G did their first competition. First outdoor event for most of our Pre-Premiers. Beginner trophy Fling and Beginner class win for J (also from expressivedancewithcrystal), first primary placings for G, and some great Novice placings for K! We saw some great improvements in our dancers performances which was amazing!

Saturday afternoon Miss Gillian and Miss Alex were 2nd and 3rd runners-up in the 19 & Over MidCanada championship. Alex received a well -deserved acknowledgment as part of Team Manitoba travelling to Moncton in July.

Sunday morning we were back at it again- it was still hot! Miss Gillian was 2nd Runner-up and Adrienne was 4th Runner-up in the 19 & Over Lord Selkirk Premiership! Alex, Adrienne and Charlotte also helped out with some volunteer roles as well!

Well done dancers! We are very proud of all of you!

These amazing humans did a fabulous job performing at our Spring Showcase with the Court, Cram and Shiells Schools this past weekend!

Manitoba Provincials 2026 was a great event today! We had 2 Premiers competing and they both earned a place on the Manitoba Team for SDCCS 2026 in Moncton in the 21 Years & Over category!

Some lovely dancing today ladies! I am so pleased for and proud of you both.

This morning we had 2 dancers participate in the MHDA closed competition in Winnipeg and they both did a wonderful job! Congratulations dancers!

Tomorrow are the Manitoba Provincial Championships to select the representatives to the Canadian Championships in July. These awesome dancers/teachers have been working hard to prepare.

As their teacher for 18 (?) years, I am always grateful to have another year working with these amazing young people.

Our Annual Spring Showcase with the Court, Cram and Shiells Schools is coming up! All our dancers from small to tall will be showing off their skills on the stage.
