Windsor Park Nordic Centre is a not for profit community centre for nordic skiers located just minutes from downtown Winnipeg.
Windsor Park Nordic Centre is operated by the Cross Country Ski Association of Manitoba - a not for profit, amateur sport organization responsible for the development of cross country ski athletes, coaches and officials in Manitoba. We daily maintain 8 kms of lit trails for both classic and skate skiing. We offer professional instruction in group and private lessons, rental equipment and basic wax

An Orange level Cold Weather warning issued by Environment Canada for the rest of this week means we will be temporarily closed:
Thursday Jan 22nd through Sunday Jan 25th.

You are welcome to enjoy your cuppa by the fire in one of the washable mugs.

Clubhouse and trails are closed tomorrow. Grooming staff and volunteers will be packing the now and grooming trails all day and night.

Snowmaking is continuing and the clubhouse will be open tomorrow. There is not enough snow to set tracks anywhere and the gravel cart paths are exposed in most areas. “Rock skiing” for sure! The first fairway (Race Course area) and practice grid (Main Grid) are the best places to ski. The east side of the river will be better when the snowmaking work has completed (next week sometime) &/or we get another 5cm, at least, of natural snow.

Snow making ain’t easy!
Many volunteer hours are making this possible. A few hiccups have slowed progress but we believe we can open at least some of our trails this weekend. Our clubhouse staff are eager to welcome you!

Come find out how to get involved in skiing & Biathlon this winter, including a laser rifle demonstration! Knowledgable volunteers will be on hand to answer all your questions.
Do you have gently used cross country ski gear to sell? Drop it off with us on Friday Nov 21st 4:00 – 8:00 PM.
15% commission will apply on all sales.
Are you looking for gently used equipment to purchase? The used gear sale starts at 9:00 AM Saturday.
