I had an amazing time at this year’s Manitoba Indigenous Youth Ball Hockey Tournament hosted by @indigenousvitality at St. Vital’s Norberry Glenlee Community Centre! There’s nothing better than being out with some youth in my community. And they even let me drop the first ball! A huge shoutout to Indigenous Vitality for bringing together over 100 young hockey players from Manitoba and Saskatchewan! Sport changes lives, and it’s inspiring to see these youth have the opportunity to grow and reach their full potential. 🏒✨

- What: 5th Annual Vitality (youth) Ball Hockey Tournament
- Who: Indigenous youth players (First Nations, Metis, Inuit)
- When: Saturday, July 6 & Sunday, July 7

- Game Format: 3-on-3
- Where: Walter Jennings Sport Fac (176 Worthington Ave., in Winnipeg)
- Division with 1 team spot open: 17 & Under (17U)

- Guaranteed 4 games (3 round robin games on Saturday and at least 1 playoff game on Sunday).

- Hockey sticks & hockey helmets are mandatory
- Hockey gloves, shin pads and jocks are all recommended but not mandatory.
