A nature art collaboration takes shape organically beginning with a circle of rocks imagined as a mini bonfire. Then blue Jay feathers (found by Ella and Paxton), plants and blooms were added. Afterward the children placed the brooms they made earlier that day—out of sticks, prairie grasses, flowers and feathers—around the formation… when they weren’t playing with them that is!

A colourful stump ‘gallery’ comes to be as the children paint rocks, pieces of bark and wood they find on site. Out of the whirlwind of creation comes bright beauty and a neat nook to show nature paintings.

Feeling so fortunate to have teamed up with at the to run a fall 🌾Forest School 🌾program ~ hurray! It was our first week and already the exploratory wonder of these curious kids lead the way beautifully! Engaging in garden walk~abouts + teachings, mud hill + kitchen play, building and creating nature forts + art, making friends with woolly bear caterpillar creatures, playing games in the wind rustled prairie grass, and so much more✨🌬…

It’s a living dream working with these bright littles, this land, and with you Leah! Excited for all the playful fun to come. 🍂

SOLA Nature School is a heartfelt collaborative vision between
Nature-Ally Learning, Seeds of Life Alliance (SOLA) & the Emotional Literacy Movement.

Blending the ethos of Forest School, the principles of Permaculture and the awareness of our emotional needs into high quality holistic education to serve the children of our community.

Week One: Aug. 16-20 (ages 5-8)
Week Two: Aug.30-Sept. 3 (ages 9-11)
10am-4pm Daily

Here at rainbow forest we are working to share open source knowledge so we can work together to support each other in the growth of our local businesses rather then compete with each other. In the age of communication and information we have all the resources we need to openly share in the abundance and in turn help our communities grow and develop into stronger healthier ones.
