Having a training partner is a must. Someone to push you when you don’t feel like it and make you laugh when your day isn’t going so well. Thankful for this girl and how she always keeps me in line.

7 years ago this summer I remember standing on this rock as a man was pulled out of the lake. He had very little swimming experiences and didn’t realize how dangerous water can be. He survived that day because off duty front line workers were at the beach. That day changed the way I see our lakes and how thankful I am to have had swimming lessons and exposure at a young age. Be safe on the water and look out for one another!
