My highlights (in no particular order)
1) handing out horse cookies to the lead line kids. 💜👧🧒🐎🍪
2) “she was nervous at the start of the course but then did awesome! I’m so proud of her!”
3) A coach saying to their adult amateur rider “I’m so pleased with that round. First round was tough but man, that was your best round yet! Amazing job!”
4) Meeting and introducing myself to so many friendly people. We really are lucky to have the people we do in this province.

It’s here folks. Say a little prayer for all the parents who had to convince their little riders to sleep last night and make an appearance at school today. Spare a thought to the teenage riders, the future of our industry with all their big dreams and determination. Send good thoughts to the trainers fielding 2648496 questions, To the riders doing something new this weekend, to the pros who keep the newbies safe. Say thank you to Manitoba Hunter Jumper Association volunteers without which none of us would get this chance. And obviously, give a pat to the horses who we all love so much. They are the entire point of the whole exercise. Have fun out there folks! We will be there to help you along the way!

Everyone has that story of the time they were stepped on by a horse. Do yourself a favour as a rider, show mom or dad, spectator, groom or coach. Wear closed toe shoes ONLY at the show grounds. We carry bandaides and Advil, but a mangled toes sure puts a damper on your day!

Hello Manitoba Horse world! Bits N Cobs will be at Summer Smiles this weekend, near the canteen. Friday evening to Sunday afternoon, we will be ready to help you out of a jam with all the things that you forgot. Horse supplies, to personal to kid supplies. You forgot it? We’ve got it.
