Hume is Back! Great News for the Canadian Fans of the Kerala Blasters!
Canadians fell in love with the Blasters during the 2014 season when our Iain Hume helped lead the team to the Indian Super League finals.
But then Hume left and the team has struggled ever since. And while we kept our loyalty to the Blasters (they do represent God's own country), we too have struggled to keep up our enthusiasm.
But all that has changed! Iain's back and the prospects for the 2017 season are looking up once again.
How sweet is that? The great Canadian will once again be gracing the field in Kochi and helping to bring the team back to championship form.
Go Iain! Go Blasters!
Gotta figure out how we can get to one of this year's home games.

7 things that made me fall in love with Kerala
Alone, as a couple or with a family, discover India in different way… We knew India a little bit already, since we had chosen it as our first destination for our round the world trip as a family. We stayed in the North, for about a month, unfortunately had no time to venture south. Having been in

And now even the mighty Iain is out of the playoffs. At least he and his team got to the semi-finals. I fear that my heart is not into the final.
It will be a very interesting off season. Let's hope the brain trust for the Blasters make some strong and smart moves - like maybe get Iain back or another Canadian.
To next year!

Go Iain! Go Kolkata!
With our Blasters out, we need to find another team to cheer for as an expression of our passion for Indian football.
So we are going with Athletico de Kolkata, starring the wondrous Canadian Iain Hume. He was the original reason we fell in love with the Blaster. Our loyalties were severely tested when he moved on but we stuck it out with Kerala cause that's God's country.
We look forward to cheering for the mighty Blasters again next season. But for the rest of the season, we're rooting for Kolkata. We invite all other the Blasters' fans to join us!

And so it ends. Not with a bang (a big win or even a big loss ) but with a whimper (a tie) - like so much else in life. The beauty of next season is that the Blasters will start off in a tie for first place.
It's been a great pleasure following the triumphs and tribulations of the Blasters this season. Now our attention and overseas vibe will be with Iain Hume and the Kolkata team. He is a great Canadian player and his departure from Kerala was a serious loss to the team.
As it ends, Delhi Dynamos 3 - 3 Kerala Blasters FC
The Blasters gave it their all with some brilliant firepower, but Delhi Dynamos managed to equalise in the final seconds of the match.
We will surely come back stronger next season, with the fantastic support from our fans. A big thank you goes out to the fans who have always been behind the team, through thick and thin. Keep making noise, Blasters!
