✅An easy 1 hour 6KM shake out run to Fort Whyte🏃+ body weight workout will be offered on Saturday, June 20 at 8:00AM with Coach Amy & Coach Sami as an alternate option that day

All paces and running levels are welcome!🏃‍♀️

🔴HYROX SERIES🔴 Station 10-Roxzone

The Roxzone is the transition area in a HYROX race that connects the 1km running laps with the 8 functional workout stations. Time spent in this area counts toward your total race time⏱️, making it crucial to manage efficiently! This is also where you’ll find the water and red bull station for a QUICK hydration break before heading back out onto the course🏃🏃‍♀️

Roxzone DO’s⤵️
✅Keep Moving! Don’t stop to rest unless absolutely necessary. It is recommended to maintain a light jog through the zone to keep momentum
✅Minimize Breaks. The Roxzone is where beginners often lose minutes; aiming for a fast transition is key!
✅Know the Map. Study the layout before the race to know exactly where to go. The Roxzone can feel like a “maze” to newcomers so be sure you’re familiar with the flow before coming into race day
✅Regroup Strategically. If you need to rest, do it while walking, rather than standing

Roxzone DONT’S⤵️
❌Participants cannot receive food or drinks from spectators in this area
❌Use this area as a rest station!
❌Lose awareness of others around you. If you feel like you need to take a quick break, make sure to stand near the outside of the zone-don’t stop in the middle! There can be alot of traffic in the Roxzone, with racers running by quickly. Make sure to keep the path clear for everyone around you
