West Kildonan Memorial Arena is an active arena with a variety of skating programs. The arena flooring is in need or replacing.
The arena is currently running programs such as: Learn to Skate, Free Public Skating, Hockey (both recreational for youths and adults), High School Hockey, Ringette and 7 Oaks Hockey Academy run by Ecole Seven Oaks Middle School Staff. QR code and ID for anyone 12yr or older (as of Dec 5,2021) will be required to enter WK Arena. Proof of one vaccination and ID must be shown each time you enter arena.
According to today's announcement by the province, proof of at least one dose of vaccination, or a recent (within 72 hours) negative test result will be required for 12 to 17 year olds for indoor and recreational sports.
There will be a grace period until Sunday December 5th to allow individuals who are not yet fully immunized to comply, with the order in effect at 12:01 a.m. on Monday December 6th.
Negative test results need to come from a participating pharmacy as provincial testing sites should only be accessed by symptomatic individuals, or those who are required to take a PCR test by public health.
