Registration for the winter season is open! Sign up your kids to play dodgeball outside of gym class. Our coaches will teach them about teamwork and following rules while showing them an engaging sport and promoting physical activity.
Season starts October 15th.
Ages 9-10, Monday, 6:30 PM-7:30 PM.
Ages 11-12, Monday, 7:30 PM-8:30 PM
Ages 13-17, Wednesday, 7 PM-9 PM

We are so proud of our Weapons of Minor Destruction who debuted as youths competing against adults in the Recreation division of this spring season.

The kids made it to the division finals! They lost but finished the season overall with a 5-4 record including playoffs games.

Guided by head coach Riel, our youths who competed at the WYO in February took the next step in their competitive drive and showed the league what they're capable of.

We look forward to their continued growth and are very excited for the future of dodgeball.

We are thrilled our athletes have the opportunity to be challenged this Spring season. This team is the same squad we sent to the World Youth Open for the U17 division.

Good luck on the rest of the season and we look forward to the continued growth of our players and program.

Winnipeg Minor Dodgeball, a rec dodgeball club from Winnipeg Canada accepted the challenge of participating in the inaugural World Youth Open.

We didn't know what to expect from other national squads and boy were those teams good.

We sent two teams. One for the 15U and one for U18. The first picture is our 15U squad which had a handful of 11 & 12 yrs olds who went to toe with the youth squads representing Hong Kong, Italy, Mexico, Regina's club, USA and England. Led by coaches Chantal & Brent. This squad came 8th out of 9th with close games in RR and matching up with the power house Hong Kong in first playoff game.

Our 18U came 6th in round robin out of 7 teams ahead of Mexico. They beat Regina in a nail biter to advance to the final four semi finals which was an incredible achievement given the amount of prep and training we know our prairie counterparts have been doing. This squad was led by Riel W assisted by Nate G and Brent.

We lost to Italy but didn't get shut out and then played England for bronze and lost a super close game 3-1.

All in all our athletes had an amazing time and so did our coaches. We are super excited to learn from the experience and use this tournament as a way to see how good we can be.

Our regular sessions resumed this week and it was incredibly exciting to see all the young athletes fired up to train and prepare for the next tournament.

We brought 21 kids to have a team in two divisions, U15 & U18. We didn't know what to expect from other teams. We knew we are a local club competing against nationally trained athletes.

We ended up in fourth place overall losing a very close game to England for bronze. Hong Kong beat Italy in the gold medal game.
