Wolfville Tennis Club will host the annual Valley Open on August 1-2. Registration is now open for Men’s Singles, Women’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, and Women’s Doubles.

Unlike in recent years when we have played an entire event in a single day, this year each event will be played over the course of the weekend, so players should be available to play both days.

The tournament is geared toward players in the 3.0-4.0 skill level range, but all are welcome to sign up!

Format will be determined pending final registration numbers and may involve a round robin and/or single elimination type tournament.

The entry fee is $10 and can be paid in cash when you arrive at the club for your first match.

The tournament is open to anyone - you do not have to be a member of the club. Please feel free to forward this message to anyone who might be interested.

Our Season Opener is this Saturday, May 9! All are welcome, whether current or prospective members, as well as anyone who wants to find out more about tennis in Wolfville. Junior players are welcome too!

Registration for our Summer Junior Lessons and our After School Drop-In program opens April 27!

We are looking forward to another season of junior tennis lessons this summer, and we are excited to announce that Danny Zhang will be our instructor this year! Danny grew up in Wolfville and took lessons here for many years, so he is very familiar with the program. He is very much looking forward to working with all our juniors this summer!
