As summer has now come to an end, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank all of our amazing summer recreation and maintenance students at the AYR Motor Centre! 👏

From organizing recreation programs and activities, to keeping our facilities, parks, and outdoor spaces looking their best, your hard work, energy, and dedication have made a difference in our community all summer long.

Thank you for bringing your enthusiasm, creativity, and positive attitudes to the job. We hope you’ve gained valuable experience, made some great memories, and had a fantastic summer with us!

Youth Zone 🏀

Get ready for non-stop games, activities, sports, and FUN all year long! Whether you're into chilling with friends or getting active, we've got something for everyone.

Children in grades 6-8 are invited to stop by at our Youth Zone which is a FREE, fun and safe place for kids to go afterschool. Each week, kids will get to participate in different activities and sports, while connecting with friends.

- 3:15pm - 5pm, Monday- Friday
- Free!

No registration is required - just head down and join the fun!

Ready to hit the Ice? ⛸️

Public and Adult Skate is back for the season! Join us tomorrow; Friday, Sept 4th for an afternoon of fun, creating memories and feel weightless as you glide across our ice! ❄️

Adult Skate times begin next week, with opportunities to skate all week long! Whether you want to fill your day with some recreation time or looking to work on those skills! Adult Skate is the perfect time to lace up and skate on.

⛑️Please note that helmets are to worn by ALL patrons at all times. These can be collected from the staff at the time of checking in.

Splash Pad Update 📣

The Splash Pad has been re-opened after further updates made to the new surface. Perfect timing to enjoy the rest of summer break before the kids are back to school 🖍️🍎

Items in our Lost & Found for week of August 24-30. Please look closely to see if anything belongs to you. Contact us ASAP to arrange for pickup . We’re open until 10pm daily. Items will be held until September 29,2026.
