Just want to let everyone know that The Flat Track will be open this weekend to all who are interested.. It will be $30 to practice, no rear knobbies! For more info or directions you can check out www.superdavesmx.com that is location of track and there is also a MX track for dirtbikes if you want to ride.

Directions to Tri-County Flat Track
Here is a few ways to get to the track:
Take Hwy 15 [Manning Freeway] towards Ft. Saskatchewan and turn left at Hwy 28A. Keep going all the way through Gibbons (Hwy 28). The track is approx. 20 min from Gibbons. Head toward Redwater but turn left on Opal Road (RR 224, there is a turn lane]. Go through Opal about 5km up the hill to Twp Rd 584. There is a "Framing by Diane" sign in the ditch. Turn left again (west) and go about 4 miles to RR232 (operating engineers training center). Turn left (south) and go to the end of the road and you'll see my driveway on the right. The track is about a 1/4 mile in.
The other way to get there is to take 97st and go to Bon Accord. Turn left on Lily Lake Road [north] and go 23km to Twp Rd 584 and turn right again. Go down the big hill to RR 232 and turn right [south]. This road has a no exit sign and look for the operating engineers training center on the left left. Go to the end of the road and you'll see my driveway on the right. The track is about a 1/4 mile in.
From St. Albert go to Hwy 37 and head East to Hwy 28 and follow it all the way north to Bon Accord. Then follow the directions above from Bon Accord on.
From Ft. Saskatchewan go through the W4 industrial and Sturgeon industrial areas and head straight north on Hwy 825 (RR 224) all the way to Twp Rd 584 and turn left (west). You will pass through Opal. Follow directions above from Opal.

Get signed up for the Flat Track school with , they will be holding school at Tri-County on June 14-15th. They supply bikes, gear, instructors, everything you need to try Flat tracking.. You can bring your own bike too!! Check them out www.flattrackcanada.com and www.goflattrack.com

Groomed track pics as of yesterday.. It is awesome. If you have a dirtbike and are interested in trying flat track all you have to do is take off your rear knobby and front brake lever. Rear flat track tires fit on dirtbike rear wheels.
