How everything started.

In a vert young age I fall in love with surfing. After 10 years of personal practice, I started to work with famous international surf schools in Bali. And in 2011 after another 10 years I decided to support the local economy with my own surf school.

Wagata Surf Bali was born 🌊 2011, I can’t believe that - what a journey until now 🤩 Thank you for your trust in me and my work 🙏🏼

MY NAME IS WAYAN! I am an ASI qualified surf coach and have been teaching people how to surf for more than 20 years. Being a surf instructor is my passion. It combines everything for me: my love for the ocean, surfing and my pleasure to be able to make YOU happy and improve your surfing skills .

I specialize exclusively in surfers who try this unique sport for the first time. My purpose is to teach only small groups so that you can have my maximum attention. I closely watch your technic so that you improve with each wave and gain your confidence. Your safety in the water is my priority, you will always be safe.

Seeing your smile while riding your first wave puts me in a state of gratitude and brings so much spirit into my Balinese way of life. My goal is that you experience your first take off within the first 10 minutes. Just in case we can’t make that happen, your next surf session with me is free of charge.
