My fitness journey has been life long and continues until this day.

I've been through all stages physically. I've been overweight, and I've been underweight. I've changed my body to compete in sports, I've changed my body to achieve a look. I've been insecure about my body and still remember how that feels. I've been hurt, injured, and I know what that can do to you physically and mentally. I've been confused and not understood why I can't achieve results. I'VE MADE EVERY MISTAKE IN THE BOOK!

This is why I've created the Body Shield Training System. I know what it takes to achieve a body that not only looks good, but feels good, and moves well. I want to give people the opportunity to achieve their goals without the years of guess-work. My system is based on the principles I've learned over the last 10 years, taking the best of what I've learned from certifications, educational seminars, time in the trenches, and hands on training from some of the industry's top names.

Training hard, moving freely, and living pain free are privileges that must be earned. Most of the training community believes that if you weight train 3 days a week, perform your cardio on non-lifting days, and stay away from the extra cheese pizza they are heading towards a life of strength and longevity. In some cases, this is true –anomalies exist in every walk of life. However, there is a large population of individuals
who pursue a life of fitness but run into roadblocks. These hindrances come in the form of acute injuries, chronic pains, and repeatedly taking one step forward and two steps back. The fitness industry has long preached that “No Pain = No Gain” but the truth is
that whoever said that probably never lifted past the age of 40.

I have made a lot of mistakes over the course of my active life. When I was younger, I trained through pain, brushing off the subtle messages my body was telling me. I would train 7 days a week in the belief that if I weren’t in the gym every day, my body was taking a step back. I believed that if I took time off, I would lose my strength, lose my muscle, and everything I worked towards would be lost. As I aged into my late
20s these mistakes reared their ugly head. Any time I would achieve a certain level of strength or performance I would run into a new injury. I would take a small break and come back to rebuild without letting myself fully heal or rehab properly. Eventually I
found myself in a place I could not believe I was in. I was in chronic pain, particularly in my lower back. I could never lift or move the way I wanted in fear of aggravating my lower back or incurring a new injury somewhere else. I had sleepless nights filled with
pain and restlessness. I reached a breaking point.

Through extensive research, trial and error, and proper ex*****on I was able to create a system that gave me my life back. This was the genesis of the Body Shield Training System. I had to rebuild the foundation upon which my body was built. I had to reinforce musculature that was underutilized and untapped. I had to forge a core of steel and correct the mechanics that had failed me in the past. I made my body my shield from injury. This is what I want for you. A lifetime of progress, strength, and most importantly, a resilient and pain-free body.
