After our Thursday game, everyone heads into the Community Hall to enjoy a relaxed coffee and cake (or biscuits!) and a friendly chat. It's a great way to keep active, meet new people and have some fun.

Fantastic to see this morning the Charity GroceryAid starting from Roslin on their tour of Midlothian and the Borders. Making good use of the Community Picnic Table and enjoying the sunshine.

This morning the Rhinos visited our neighbours Penicuik Petanque Club for our match in the Lothian & Borders Inter Club League. Rosslyn Rhinos started well with 2 Doubles wins in the first session and then the 2nd session of doubles were drawn.

Going into the last round of Singles & Triples therefore the visitors led 3-1.

Congratulations to Penicuik who came back strongly to win both final matches by a shot going down to the last boule in each match resulting in a drawn match 3-3.

Thanks to Penicuik for your hospitality and warm welcome - wishing you well for the remainder of the Season.

Rosslyn Rhinos 4 – Reivers Pétanque Club 2

A successful day for the Rosslyn Rhinos as we recorded a 4–2 victory over Reivers Pétanque Club.

Well done to all our players who took part: Alison, Carol, Ian, Jane, Mike and Paul, with everyone contributing to a strong team performance.

Thank you to Reivers Pétanque Club for an enjoyable and competitive day of pétanque played in great spirit.

Lothian and Borders Petanque League 2026 Rules by Peter Harrington A team will consist of a minimum of 4 players and a maximum of 8. A player cannot play for more than one club in the season.

We were delighted to again support Rotary Club of Penicuik at their annual fundraising golf tournament @ Glencorse Golf Club raising vital funds for Children's Hospices Across Scotland . Fantastic day all round apart from hailstones in the afternoon.! Superb meal by Cornet Catering at Glencorse GC .
