One mistake I see many beginners make is trying to learn everything at once.

Today, it’s skirts.Tomorrow, sleeves.Next week, corsets.Before they even understand the foundation, they’ve moved to bridal wear. 😅

Bestie, slow down. ❤️

You don’t become a good tailor by knowing plenty of things halfway. You become good by mastering the foundation until your hands understand what your brain is doing.

For example, if you’re learning flare cutting, don’t cut it once and move on.

Cut it again.Cut it in another size.Try another fabric.Make another one.Repeat it until you can pick up your tape, fabric and scissors and confidently say:

“I know exactly what I’m doing.”

That is how skill is built.

Don’t be in a hurry to know everything.

MASTER ONE THING.PRACTICE IT REPEATEDLY.THEN MOVE TO THE NEXT.
