International Showjumping Competition on Lake Maggiore
10-13 September 2026

Every year, in July, horse lovers can meet at the International Horse Show of Ascona, which welcomes some illustrious names among the best horsewomen and horsemen in the world. In the vast area of the former airport, fully “dressed up” for the occasion, a spectacular jumping competition takes place for four consecutive days. It is entirely dedicated to horse riding and offers a program of the highest level. Businesses related to the splendid thoroughbreds and their riders can participate at other entertaining manifestations.

Two weeks later, and we’re still not over it.

The sport, the atmosphere, the people, the adrenaline… four days filled with moments we already miss more than we expected.

So, if you’re feeling the same, there’s only one thing to do: live it all over again.

Two weeks on, and Ascona still has more stories to tell.

As our event patroness, took us behind the scenes, guided us through the show and brought us closer to the riders - their stories, their personalities and the moments beyond the arena.

And that was only the beginning.

Stay close. There’s more from Ascona to come!
