More pre- season skiing to be had as Avoriaz announces it will be open once again this coming weekend with more areas and lifts accessible.
I’ll have the pleasure of teaching this weekend so may get a few laps in myself ⛷️🏂❄️
🇬🇧 We ski again! This comes as no surprise but will open for another bonus, pre-season weekend THIS weekend with and extended area that includes Ardent, Prolays and Chaux Fleurie ✌️
🇫🇷 On skie à nouveau !

Beat feeling to be back out on the snow with the team.
Conditions were perfect on the first day of my season with fab snow conditions, blue bird ski and ideal temperatures on Friday 🥰❄️🏂🏔️

And the season is off with a bang this winter with an unprecedented amount of snow seen falling in the last week and a half of November in the French Alps 🥰❄️🏔️ Polar winds and the El Nina effect have given us an unexpected early start to the season.
I live at 1000cm above a small village on the outskirts of beautiful Morzine and I’ve cleared my driveway 4 times in 6 days alone!!! Pretty sure that’s the total amount I did it all of last winter!!! 😂 I’ve probably had at least 80cm of snow fall here in those 6 days.
Anyway this amazing start to the season has meant teaching has started early this year with me heading off to Glacier3000 over in Switzerland with .
Couldn’t have been more happy to strap on the snowboard for the first time in 7 months 🏂🥰

🇬🇧 More snow has fallen overnight at higher altitudes on the French side with more forecast this week😀🏂⛷️
🇬🇧 I knew it would snow 😆
🇫🇷 Je savais qu’il neigerait 😆

🇬🇧 This little gem of resort, right on my doorstep, is finally enjoying its first snowfall of winter 25/26 following some freezing overnight temperatures.
The Roc d'Enfer, situated between 950m and 1800m, is a hidden gem in the Portes de Soleil. With 28 km of slopes available and 16 lifts, it has pistes to site everyone from beginners, intermediates and experts. Included in the PDS whole area pass, it is only a short 10 to 15mins drive from Morzine.
If you are looking for quieter slopes especially during busy peak weeks, this is a place to explore.
