Writing this message is not easy for us.
Südwand was born from a simple idea: to create a place for the people of Engelberg — a place where you can boulder, meet friends, train, and spend time together.
From the very beginning, it was important to us to keep prices as low as possible so that everyone can afford to visit.
At the moment, however, we are still in a phase where our visitor numbers — even during strong holiday periods — are not yet sufficient to sustainably cover our ongoing operating costs.
Südwand was meant to be more than just a bouldering gym; it is a meeting place for our community.
And that is exactly why we are reaching out to you today.

Man spürt’s: die Südwand kommt zum Leben! ​🧡​

Es ist ein besonderer Moment, wenn etwas, das monatelang nur auf Plänen existierte, endlich Form annimmt.
Die Südwand wächst. Stück für Stück, Griff für Griff.
Die ersten Routen sind gesetzt, die Wände stehen – bald kommen die Matten, und damit das Herz der Halle.
Noch ist alles im Werden. Aber schon jetzt spürt man, was hier entsteht:
Ein Ort zum Ankommen, Bewegen, Teilen.
