Strong start to the 2026 PM Optimist season in Lugano.

Five races were successfully completed, providing a solid opening to the 2026 year. Our sailors delivered excellent performances in a highly competitive fleet of 95 participants.

Aston Muntmark finished 2nd overall, while Arthur Bonhomme secured 2nd place in the Under 12 category.

A promising beginning, with great motivation for the upcoming events.

Great 2nd place overall in ILCA4 at the first Europa Cup 2026 in Portimão. 8 sailors from the club competed in medium-to-tough conditions with chopping and wind shifts, reaching almost 25 knots. 5 races in total. Yann finished 2nd with the same number of points as the winner, and Amedee finished 5th overall. Edward finished 3rd in the under-17 category in ILCA 6. Eight races were completed at the Trofeo Faccenda, organized by Fraglia Vela Riva, which counted as the first selection Optimist regatta.

Our sailors delivered solid performances and remain fully in contention to represent Switzerland at the summer IODA championships. The next selection events will be decisive ⛵🇨🇭

3rd place overall and a podium for Leo at the French National Autumn Championships, leading in the Boys’ class and also among the Swiss sailors. A good 11th place for Edward, both among the top 100 in ILCA 6. In ILCA 4, Oscar is the first of our sailors with a 13th place. Amedee was fighting among the top 3 until the last race, where, due to a BfD , he dropped in the overall positions . Marseillan 2025 - the future of our Optimist sailors has arrived. One week training in France during autumn break

Great performance by the ILCA team at the Swiss Championship in Pully. Ninety boats competed across the three categories. Boris won the ILCA 7 category in seven races, while Ulysse and Leo took first and second place in ILCA 6, while Edward, Yann, and Amedee took the podium in ILCA 4. Triple podium finish at the Bou Bou Challenge, organized by the CNV. With a full program of eight races, in the ILCA 4 category, Yann and Amedee finished first and second, Katerina finished fourth and first among the girls. In the Optimist category, Arthur won the junior category and took home the Challenge trophy, while Aston took third place overall. Congratulations to our entire team! 12 sailors in total.

SNG at the ILCA 4 European Championship, with Leo on the podium, a great third place finish in his category. A very well-organized championship with strong winds.
Katerina, Edward, Amedee, Yann, and Oscar completed our team.

Great news from Puck, Poland. Leo is the overall winner and the Under 16 winner in the Europa Cup, prior to the European Championship. There were 147 sailors in the ILCA 4 category, from 17 nations.
